SLCE watermakers equips potable water systems for military camps in partnership with MAISONNEUVE CITERNE, part of the BENALU – LEGRAS Group
We are pleased to announce our collaboration with MAISONNEUVE CITERNE, a manufacturer of tank trucks and water treatment solutions, as part of a large-scale project to supply fully integrated potable water production systems for military camps of 300 people.
A strategic and ambitious project
This year-long production project enabled the deployment of five autonomous units capable of:
- capturing any water source (fresh or saltwater),
- treating it using desalination systems of our own design,
- storing and distributing it as potable water.
These systems are used to meet the essential needs of the camps: kitchens, sanitation, laundry facilities, and field hospitals. They are designed to operate independently or in combination—for example, two units can support a camp of 600 people.
A natural collaboration between two French SMEs
The choice of SLCE watermakers as the desalination system supplier was a natural one. We share with MAISONNEUVE CITERNE a common industrial culture, a commitment to quality, and a strong focus on innovation—essential in the demanding environments associated with military operations.
As Séverine Le Roux, Director of the Water Systems division at MAISONNEUVE CITERNE, points out, this partnership highlights the strength of synergies between high-tech French SMEs capable of meeting the demands of rapid deployment and the varied climatic conditions encountered in the field.
A project dynamic set to continue
Building on the success of this mission, our partnership with MAISONNEUVE CITERNE is part of a long-term strategy, with new projects already underway. This achievement demonstrates that together, we can deliver concrete, reliable, and sustainable solutions to water supply challenges in the most demanding contexts.
