Orient Express Corinthian

Orient Express Corinthian

We are proud to have contributed to the equipment of the sailing cruise ship Orient Express Corinthian, currently undergoing sea trials between Saint-Nazaire, Lorient and the Atlantic Ocean, by supplying three SLE reverse osmosis units with a capacity of 70 m³/day each.

Before installation on board, the machines were fully tested in our workshops, in order to validate performance and compliance with the project requirements.

A first testing phase was then carried out while the vessel was alongside at the Saint-Nazaire shipyard, with our technical team on site, followed by sea trials performed with a second team, allowing the equipment to be validated under real operating conditions.

Built in Saint-Nazaire, the Orient Express Corinthian is presented as the world’s largest sailing cruise ship, featuring an innovative wind-assisted propulsion system and designed for high-end operation. The vessel is currently completing a series of technical trials prior to entering service.

During a recent and remarkable call in the harbor of Lorient, some may have wondered if she had come to say hello to us… With our facilities located in Caudan, we are following the sea trials of this exceptional vessel with particular attention, and we are proud to have contributed to this outstanding project.

Congratulations to all the teams involved in this major achievement.
